Welcome
Welcome to the Hoole Baptist Church (HBC) Website.
We currently meet in the Hoole Community Centre (HCC) on Westminster Road for Sunday morning services and we have an extensive range of activities for all ages.
Many of these activities take place in the Hoole Lighthouse Centre (HLC), which is also on Westminster Road.
We provide a warm welcome to everyone. If you do visit us on a Sunday, please make yourself known to the Welcome Team who can show you the range of children and youth activities that are available.
If you have any questions, or would like any further information, please get in touch using the details on the Contact Us page.
Please use the menu on the left to navigate to the different areas of our site.
Latest Alpha Course
The Alpha course is a chance to spend ten weeks exploring the Christian faith. The course involves the chance to chat, ask questions, watch a video and eat together.
The course and materials are free - although donations towards the food are welcome.
If you have wanted to know more about the Christian faith, or you just want the chance to chat about what it means to be a Christian, then the Alpha course is for you.
Hoole Baptist Church and All Saints Church in Hoole jointly run three courses every year.
Over the past 3 years, we have had over 200 guests on the course.
The next starts with an introductory meal on Thursday 30 April 2009 at 7.15pm at All Saints Church Centre in Hoole.
Week One starts on Thursday 7 May 2009 at 7.15pm at All Saints Church Centre.
Each session follows the same pattern of supper, then a video and then small group discussion.
The sessions are run on a Thursday evening, and finish around 9.30pm.
If you are interested in coming to one of the Alpha courses, or would like more information, get in touch using the 'contact us' link on the left.
Press Release
Hoole Baptist Church has issued a press release to highlight that a free money management course is being run in Hoole.
We are running the course, called CAP Money, to offer local residents a chance to get their finances back on track.
Christians Against Poverty (CAP), a national debt counselling charity, is running the three-week course through Hoole Baptist Church.
Trained CAP Money Coaches Marcus and Denise Jeremy, Viv Lloyd and Russell Page will be on hand to lead the sessions and offer practical advice.
The course also boasts the feature of providing access to CAP's debt counselling services for those with acute financial needs.
The next course begins on Monday 15 June 2009 and will be held at Hoole Lighthouse Centre, Westminster Road, Hoole, Chester, CH2 3AU (view the About HBC page for a map).
Those wanting to attend the CAP Money course can contact Hoole Baptist Church Office on 01244 312037, or use the information on the 'contact us' page, and ask for Hazel to confirm details.
