About Us

Hoole Baptist Church is affiliated to the Baptist Union of Great Britain and we are members of the Evangelical Alliance, Mainstream Network and Link Up.
The Hoole Lighthouse Centre and the church offices are all situated in one building on Westminster Road, Hoole, Chester. We meet on a Sunday morning for our main celebration in the Community Centre also on Westminster Road.

We are a friendly, growing congregation. Our meetings are lively and informal.
We believe that God has given us a threefold mission purpose - to love God; to love one another; and to love the lost. We want people to experience the love of God and have a strong focus on serving our community.
We have good working relationships with other local congregations in Hoole and Chester.
During the week we meet in Life Groups where we seek to disciple one another in worship, Bible study and lifestyle evangelism.

Our mission

As a church, we feel called to a three-fold approach.

To love God - the UP part of the diagram. To love God with our heart, soul, mind and strength.
To love others - the IN part of the diagram. To see others with God's eyes.
To love the lost - the OUT part of the diagram. To take God's love to our community.

Where we meet

We have two places where the activities of our church take place.
Firstly, the Hoole Lighthouse Centre on Westminster Road has our church office and hosts a number of activities during the week such as a parent and toddler group and youth clubs.
The second is Hoole Community Centre, again on Westminster Road. Here, we meet for the main Sunday morning celebration.
