The Alpha course is a chance to spend ten weeks exploring the Christian faith. The course involves the chance to chat, ask questions, watch a video and eat together.

The course and materials are free - although donations towards the food are welcome.

If you have wanted to know more about the Christian faith, or you just want the chance to chat about what it means to be a Christian, then the Alpha course is for you.

Hoole Baptist Church, All Saints Church, Northgate Church and Queens Street Christian Centre jointly run three courses every year in Hoole. Over the past 4 years, we have had over 250 guests on the course. The next starts with a city-wide Celebration which will introduce Alpha. This will take place on Thursday 24th September 2009 at the Queen Hotel on City Road. Doors open at 7.00pm and the meal at 7.30pm.

Week One of the course starts on Thursday 1st October 2009 at 7.15pm at All Saints Church Centre.

Each session follows the same pattern of supper, then a video and then small group discussion. The sessions are run on a Thursday evening, and finish around 9.30pm.
