Pensarn Cottage
Weekends are regularly run at Pensarn Cottage to help people understand and explore the nature of prophetic.
The 2008 guest speakers are:
Brian and Margaret Squires
Brian and Margaret, who have been actively working with Russ and Lesley on the Pensarn Cottage weekends for many years, have 2 adult children and are members of Hoole Baptist Church, Chester where they have been involved there in prayer and intercession groups, house-group leadership, running a Prophetic School and exploring how 5 fold ministry works with the leadership.
Brian initially trained at Art College, was nearly a teacher, but retrained for a career in computing and still does data warehouse contracts as and when the opportunities present.
He also runs a fine art printing business.
Margaret has a degree in History and was formerly a teacher.
She has also been a Tour Guide in the City of Chester.
She loves maintaining a devotional journal (watching over God's word).
Marion Watts
Marion has 2 children, 3 step children and is a Pastoral Assistant in a local Anglican Church.
She works actively in various areas of the St Asaph Diocese, having developed for them a training course for Pastoral Assistants.
Formerly a social worker helping people with disabilities, she has also worked as a bereavement counsellor and is a trained Acorn Christian Listener and tutors for them.
Neil and Julia Maddock
Neil and Julia have 2 children and are part of the leadership team at Southampton Christian Fellowship (Assemblies of God).
They oversee the creative arts ministry of the Church.
Their experience in this arena of drama comes from being part of the Activate Theatre & Detour Theatre Companies.
Therefore, they both have much experience to bring.
Neil also has a degree in the performing arts.
Joanna Porter
Joanna has 2 children and is part of the Leadership at Antioch, Colwyn Bay and for the next few years will be living on Bardsey Island.
She has been dancing since her early teens and has found dance to be a powerful way of expressing her prayer and worship and of communicating the heart of God to others.
Paul and Janice Finn
Paul and Janice have 4 adult children.
They came to Southampton in 1975 and lead Southampton Christian Fellowship (an Assemblies of God church) and are spiritual parents to many.
They also have a deep concern for marriage and are very busy in marriage counselling, enrichment and preparation, and have a growing national profile in ministry to marriage.
They are both qualified counsellors with the Association Of Christian Counsellors and Paul has a Masters degree from Southampton University.
Janice serves the Fellowship in numerous ways including worship leading, mentoring and counselling.
