Our Mission

Why do we do what we do?

Our purpose is to respond to God's love in Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit and to express this through worship, discipleship, fellowship, ministry and mission.

What are we trying to do?

Love God. Each individual is responsible for his/her own spiritual life. Everyone is able to have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and we want to encourage all to grow in this love for God.

Love Others. Pastoral care for the congregation is not the responsibility of one person or even a small team. Small groups that value every member ministry is the best forum for seeing an individual become more like Christ in their lifestyle.

Love the Lost. In providing pastoral care and support, there is recognition that it is not an end in itself but rather a means whereby individuals can be prepared and equipped for the great commission.

HBC is a 3 dimensional church, a healthy church where there is a balance of Up-In-Out.
